Hello
Welcome to my musings!

Naming is hard! A lot of people spend time in naming, be it a variable in a program, a product, or a human being :) And it is a problem to attend for big companies with a huge portfolio of different products like Google.
This week I found a tweet from Google Cloud’s VP of Product Marketing Brian Hall about hiring a Lead for Naming products. Soon we might see “Chief Naming Officer” ;)
Over to this week’s learnings.
What I read/heard this week?
One of those interesting visual guides I read in recent times and is about Apache Kafka.
And this, from Ahmet, on one of my favorite projects - Knative.
It has been over two years since we announced Knative. As the project and its community are going strong, I think we made some mistakes in the early positioning and messaging of Knative prevented the project from being a go-to addon for Kubernetes…
A long soulful piece from Amr Awadallah. Do give it a read!
Preamble: I have a confession to make.
Open source Project
